Full Time Job Description

Account Manager- Discrete Manufacturing for Automotive, High Tech or Industrial Manufacturing verticals.

Atlanta, GA or Southeast location

DESCRIPTION

Our client is the world’s most comprehensive provider of innovative supply chain management and pricing excellence solutions. For nearly 30 years, they have empowered its customers to make optimal decisions that improve profitability and achieve real results. We are searching for an Account Manager for our discrete manufacturing vertical that has enterprise level software solutions sales experience in the high tech and automotive industry to assist us in our efforts to increase and support our client base.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans.
Develops new customer relationships.
Develops compelling value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
Executes against the major steps of the sales process:
Find new business opportunities
Qualify new opportunities, and
Close new business.
Serves as a focal point for customer services issue escalation.
Manages closure on customer support issue.
Sells against annual revenue targets for software licenses and services.
Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty with customers.
Manages to detail regarding the customer account contact management information through the entire sales lifecycle process

KNOWLEDGE/REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience and success in selling high value, long lead time enterprise solutions software ($500K and above and 6 months in duration for individual transactions).
Experience and success selling implementation consulting services ($200K and above).
Proven sales quota attainment track record ($3M annual quota achievement and above).
Proven new business development skills.
Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills.
Outstanding customer-focused Account Management skills.
Demonstrated sales track record with Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturers (8-10 years experience and above) is preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of the discrete manufacturing industry pain points and related cost drivers is preferred.
Understanding of broad competitive solution footprints for the Retail information systems marketplace is preferred.
Demonstrated relationships with Manufacturing Industry system integrators.

High comfort level and presence with senior Manufacturing executives.

Extensive travel required.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
